Purpose of Sunday School (Wilivola Sigatabu):

Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
Sunday school acts as a steppingstone in equipping the younger generation with the knowledge of what it means to be a Christian. Our Sunday school is made up of children ranging from preschoolers to secondary school students.

Meeting Time:

The Sunday School champs meets every Sunday at 10:30 am in church with the guidance of Sunday school teachers. Children are grouped according to their age groups participating in different activities and bible lessons.

Palm Sunday:

Palm Sunday, also called Passion Sunday, in the Christian tradition, the first day of Holy Week and the Sunday before Easter, commemorating Jesus Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem. It is associated in many churches with the blessing and procession of palms (leaves of the date palm or twigs from locally available trees). Palm Sunday was celebrated on Sunday, March 24, 2024
.
For the Methodist Church it was a moment to reflect on the important role the family plays in the upbringing of a child to be a responsible human being. Today the children of Auckland Fiji Methodist Circuit in their Meadowlands and Pukekohe congregation took on the stage to preach on family values, the importance of raising a family the right and Godly way.
